I recently watched a film called Happy which went into the lives of those who lived their lives entitled to things that made them happy in life. Everyone's happiness is different and for that that's the most beautiful part of life. We as individuals should learn how to be more happy. This documentary film was truly inspiring and left me with wonders. This film was filled with wonderful life lessons, cutting edge findings, and real life examples. It became very ground breaking when such individuals such as scientist, researchers, and authors. Became so stuck on the idea are why are people happy? However, they also look into things how to measure happy, what in life makes people happy, or even how to obtain true happiness. These researchers have become so intrigued with the idea of what truly makes happiness. Many became at ease with happiness with having items in their life like image, status, and money which somewhat created their image on what "happiness" is for these individuals. Later in the film things were learned such materialistic items do not define true happiness. It was things such as intrinsic values ( personal growth, relationship, community, meaning, and to change the world. Do you ever sit down and ask the rhetorical question to yourself: Am I happy? Why am I happy? or Why aren't I happy? This documentary delivers what happiness is to those who live in it and such a wonderful form a documentary -type format that becomes so mesmerizing it'll have you questioning yourself about a simple thing that many individuals don't really take to think about.... Happiness.
